BULLSHIT! he's nothing like beefheart. i reckon tom is far better than beefheart. i consider beefheart more of a novelty act than anything and quite frankly i can't see what anybody sees in him.
waits nails the shitter out of this style. 'the piano has been drinking' .. solo with a piano live is an all time classic!
