"She" was first recorded by Frenchman Charles Aznavour and became a No. 1 hit single in the U.K. in 1972.Elvis Costello did a cover of it in 1999, working with Burt Bacharach on the arrangement. Personally, this has been my favorite Costello song. But I may have to rethink that:
