This is another song from my session at Capitol Records. This song is called Miss Invisible and is very dear to me.. It's quite autobiographical and details my time in junior high school. To this day, it's hard to get through this song without feeling like I'm right back in my 13 year old self ... falling down stairs... dreading lunch time..This is also the song with which I won the 2004 Pantene Pro-Voice contest which some of you may know about. Amazing! It's an extremely powerful song! It gave me goose bumps! I think your voice is extremely unique and you showed lots of emotions while singing it. Do you usually write songs about your life experiences?

hey marie! i love all your music and i bought your CD, but i still like watching your youtube videos better, not because your in them or something (though you are gorgeous) but because i think they're better. i don't like all the other instruments in your songs, i just like it when it's you and the piano (or guitar). anyway, i'm just one person, but maybe other people agree...idk...anyway, keep up the good work!God Bless!

it sounds to me that she lacked confidence, and every time she tried to build it up someone was always there to tear it down. That she would try as hard as she could to fit in, but the more she tried, the harder it was, and the more she was bullied.
It seems to me that she always wanted someone to ask her who she was, out of pure curiosity, and not to tease her. Then this boy came and was in the same situation she was.
It really is a powerful song.
