I heard about this video on another forum. The day was very hot and the plane was heavily loaded so the pilot took all of the runway before he put it in the air. Russian pilots are trained in all sorts of flying conditions and when taking off in hot thin air you need all the speed you can get to be safe. The pilot timed it just right. They also use short runways alot.
