I guess it has less to do with the quality of the video itself and more to do with the fact that this was an amazing fight, one of the best that I have seen, too bad the ending was quite unfortunate.

Typical cockney wankers, they are the same all over, no class. As for minter he was very average, while Marvin was class, a pity they couldn't see it. Try reading 4 kings, a great boxing book to get the Hagler view of this fight.

as a boxing fan and a brit, i cannot believe how the fans reacted to hagler. hagler was fantastic, minter had heart but no reply. i hadn't heard if minter had said no black man would take his title but if he did, this is pure poetic justice.

many thanx to video owner . Wow, i remember watching the fight live, Harry Carpenter was commentating, for me and for most people this was the first we d seen of hagler. poor alan minter did give it a go though, but hagler as you probably know was very good ineed !
