I like te same music is you do.But to say that other stuff isn't real metal is not completely fair. Some/alot of Guns and roses songs are actually nice to listen to.

I really prefer Spawn of possesion, nile or Cannibal corpse over them but Still GnR is real music.

ya but joplin and marley write pretty much everything on their own (i dont think this song counts really because SO many bands have used it) but but gnp covers so much music from so many other bands, also it really makes a mark on someones opinions of a band when 4 OF THE 14 SONGS ON THEIR GREATEST HITS ALBUMS R COVERS especially when the covers arent as good as the originals

Exactly... saying GNR stole this song is like saying Jeff Buckley stole Hallelujah, and Joe Cocker stole with a little help from my friends... it's bull... you got a song you love, you sing it and give credit to the original. It's not stealing, it's tribute.

Can't people just understand that good and bad are relative terms that differ from person to person and that every artist that sings a song brings a different edge to it.

Good is a matter of perspective be it of one person, of a minority or of a maiority.
