Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the WiiRemote

Using the infrared camera in the Wii remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs), you can accurately track the location of your head and render view dependent images on the screen. This effectively transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment. The display properly reacts to head and body movement as if it were a real window creating a realistic illusion of depth and space. By Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. WuMasterWuMan (November 21, 2008 at 3:05 am)
no, it doesn't pop out of the screen like with those glasses, but appears to be for the user by changing the screen with your movement.

I've got a question, cause I clearly see that it works but, when you are using the glasses with the infrared LEDs, is it like the IMAX cinema that you can see them so close to you?

This is pretty much what the PS3 Eyecamera and the PS2 Eyetoy does. Still this is a great video Johnny

sorry to bother but can someone tell me if i should do this...
so my school is raffling off a Nintendo wii which has a value of $250.
each raffle ticket costs $5 and there are only going to be a 100 people entering to win.
so this means i will have a 1 out of a 100 chance or 1% chance of winning the Nintendo wii. is it worth my $5? or should i just not enter in to win ? pleaseeeeee give me an answer !
thanksssss !
