ABORTION and GAYSWhen you ask a republican or someone who believes in God, why god did not stop Eve (first mother) from eating the apple which caused not just Eve and Adam also whole their generations to be kicked out of the Garden of Eden, they will give you a dumb answer, because of free will. Now my question is how come you do not give that free will to a pregnant woman or gay people? You are a bunch of hypocrites.

Yes couldnt agree more. Did we come from Apes who knows were the first humans a man with a bunch of apples trees around him and a snake and a woman was born from the man's rib some people believe those stories I mean dont get me wrong I believe in God and the Bible but god didnt write the bible men wrote the bible. Now from every false story does come some truth which is exactly what bill explains, taking the bible literally means youve got a very tiny brain look out the lines People. Please

Sherri is a moron isnt she LOL
only1tylerdurden (November 22, 2008 at 8:47 am)
im sorry but the destruction of bath houses didnt propel the christian faith to the juggernaut it is today. you are right about the the naming of the roman catholic church, but im sure a five year old could guess that the [roman] catholic church comes from oh no way! it comes from rome!! wtf. and peanutbutter comes from what!!! peanuts! MmmAzing! see that... i misss spelled amazzzing. hope you can readdd it.
only1tylerdurden (November 22, 2008 at 8:42 am)
yeah my writing is pretty bad thank god for spell check eh? but come on now that statement that romans didnt have a religion is not true. many romans (mostly lower class) did in fact believe in [polytheistic] or "many gods". after many civil wars emperor constantine converted to christianity and tampered with already farely compramised translations of the old and new testament. he did this so that the pegan roman society would adjust to his new religion with ease....
aborygydknee (November 22, 2008 at 1:02 am)
You mean a 'polytheistic' society? For a history major you sure don't even know how to spell. That's appalling! Without proper spelling you are ignorant of many things. Those 'gods' of the Romans weren't part of a religion as such. The Romans participated in orgies at public baths, the sites of which are now covered and remain buried under the Chrisitan churches that eventually converted the Romans-hence the Roman Catholic Church! I think your 'degree', if you really hold one, is blinding you.

5:24 Bill is made speechless by Sherri's stupidity.
xaechickx (November 21, 2008 at 11:23 pm)
this was a great topic. i loved bill's answers. in response to the question at 6:15, you should not have to "suspend logic" otherwise you are making yourself ignorant...plain and simple.
mademepickaname (November 21, 2008 at 8:53 pm)
I can't believe the question the woman asks at 6:15! How ludicrous can a person be? Only in a scientifically illiterate society can absurdity of this magnitude be sustained.
civilape (November 21, 2008 at 2:22 pm)
religion has been in control for so long in every corner of the world, that you're exactly right, political advances always come from religious sources because it's only when religion says it's okay that it happens. Religion as an institution is too slow to act and change (it took how many years for Catholics to forgive the Jews?). Change happens in spite of religion, not because of it. Sure M.L.K was a minister but he had to fight most times against organized religion to bring about change.
only1tylerdurden (November 21, 2008 at 9:29 am)
yes and if youd recount history romans had many civil wars and most of their religious histories were tempered with. especially by one emperor name constantine. who tarnished most of the new testament to correlate with pegan beliefs to assure a more peaceful assimulation. dont mess with the history major. and to say the romans were not religious is beyond stupidity. they were a polythistic society.
